We are seeking a Medical Assistant II for an initial 3-month contract in Corona, CA! This position comes with the likeliness of an extension or a direct offer.
pay rate: $21.56/hourshift details: Weekdays, 8:00am-4:30pm PST
Position Details:- Assists in examination and treatment of patients, performing miscellaneous delegated duties under the direction of physician.- Asks patients questions regarding injury or ailment.- Takes vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, and records information on patients' charts.- Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients.- Cleans and sterilizes instruments - Rotation between PET/CT and Rad Onc clinic. (PET/CT requires getting patient in a room, stocking, vitals as needed, POC glucose. Follow up calls etc.)
Requirements:- 3-5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant- Essential for safe patient care to prepare and monitor patients prior to PET/CT Imaging.
