UT Internal Medicine - Pellissippi is seeking enthusiastic and qualified applicants for a full-time Medical Assistant (MA) to join our patient-centered primary care team. This is a great opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients while working in a supportive, collaborative clinic located in the fast-growing Northshore area of West Knoxville.

What You'll Do
In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our providers to ensure a seamless, compassionate patient experience. Daily responsibilities include:
Assisting providers with patient care
Rooming patients and obtaining vitals
Performing point-of-care testing
Assisting with minor procedures
Coordinating scheduling and prior authorizations
Obtaining pre-certifications for MRIs and CTs
Communicating test results
Building strong, professional relationships with physicians, teammates, patients, and families
Requirements
Strong communication and time-management skills
Attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Prior clinical experience preferred
6 months - 1-year Previous medical office experience
