    About the Role


    We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support both clinical and administrative operations in our home care office. This role is a key part of our team, ensuring patients and caregivers receive efficient, professional, and compliant service.


    Responsibilities

    • Greet patients, caregivers, and visitors; manage front desk operations and incoming calls

    • Schedule appointments and maintain organized calendars and records

    • Take vital signs, document medical history, and prepare patients for exams

    • Assist with basic procedures and ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready

    • Administer and track PPDs tests; follow up on results and escalate when needed

    • Maintain employee health records and ensure accurate documentation

    • Coordinate with internal teams to support daily operations

    • Follow HIPAA, safety, and infection control guidelines 


    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED required

    • Certified/Registered Medical Assistant (required)  

    • Minimum 1 years of Medical Assistant experience

    • Experience in home care or healthcare setting preferred

    • PPD placement and reading experience required

    • Bilingual (English/Spanish) 


    Skills

    • Strong communication and patient interaction skills

    • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

    • High attention to detail and organization

    • Comfortable with computers and data entry systems

    • Ability to work independently and follow through
