What You"ll Do

As a Medical Assistant, you"ll be a key member of the care team, helping ensure patients receive outstanding clinical care and support from check-in to follow-up.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, medication updates, and other clinical information
• Collect specimens and prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Assist providers during OB/GYN exams and treatments
• Document patient information accurately within the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Educate patients on treatment plans, follow-up instructions, and provider recommendations
• Prepare and stock exam rooms, ensuring equipment and supplies are readily available
• Support providers with day-to-day clinical operations and patient care coordination

Patient Care & Administrative Support

• Schedule appointments and coordinate patient care services
• Communicate professionally with patients regarding appointments, follow-up visits, and care needs
• Collaborate closely with providers, nurses, and office staff to ensure a seamless patient experience
• Help create a welcoming, supportive environment for all patients

What We"re Looking For

• Medical Assistant Diploma or Certificate required
• At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
• Strong patient care and customer service skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy clinical environment
• Comfortable working with scheduling systems and electronic medical records
• Team-oriented mindset with a compassionate and professional approach to patient care

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous OB/GYN or Women"s Health experience
• Experience with Epic EMR
• Prior experience supporting providers in a specialty practice
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows and patient education

Schedule

• Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• No evenings or weekend hours

Work Environment

This position is based in a professional Women"s Health clinic where patient care, teamwork, and compassion are at the center of everything we do. You"ll work closely with providers and fellow clinical staff in a fast-paced yet supportive environment, utilizing Epic and other healthcare technologies to deliver high-quality care.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenwich, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
