Position Title: Medical Assistant (General)
Location: Yuba City 95991
Duration: 8 weeks
Work Schedule: Day Shift | 40 Hours/Week (8-Hour Shifts)
Pay rate: 27$/hr.Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:- Prepare exam rooms and assist with patient check-in.
- Obtain and document vital signs, reporting significant findings to the provider.
- Assist physicians with office procedures and treatments.
- Perform venipuncture and specimen collection as ordered.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in Epic.
- Coordinate patient recalls, referrals, and follow-up appointments.
- Perform audiometry and vision screening when applicable.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.
To be considered for this position, you should have: [Skills, Education, or Experience]- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinic or ambulatory setting.
- Epic EMR experience is required.
- Current BLS (Healthcare Provider) certification required.
- Medical Assistant (CMA) certification preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred.
- Audiometry and vision screening certification preferred (or ability to obtain within six months of hire).
- Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
