Full Time Medical Assistant needed for Dermatology Physician in Yukon
Monday-Friday, no weekends or major holidays
Responsibilities
- Obtain and document vitals while preparing patient to be seen by physician
- Accurately document patient-provider encounters in EHR including past medical history and current medical issues
- Assist physician as needed with examinations and procedures
- Triage patient calls
- Filing reports and correspondence in charts
- Clean and stock patient rooms
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- MA Certification preferred but not required
- Experience in a dermatology office is a plus
- EHR experience a plus but not required
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology a plus
- High School diploma or equivalent required (GED)
