Medical Assistant (FT) - Dr. Balzer

Administer injections and immunizations, triage patient calls for medication refills and provide test results. Prepare patients for examination, take vitals and record patient health history.

Full time Medical Assistant needed for family practice clinic in Yukon 

 

Responsibilities 

• Prepare patients for examination, take vitals and record patient health history
• Prepare charts, assist physician with medical procedures and exams
• Administer injections and immunizations, triage patient calls for medication refills and provide test results
• Keep exam rooms clean and equipped with appropriate supplies
• Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements

• Medical Assistant Certification preferred but not required
• At least 2 years experience preferred
• Must be detailed oriented
• Good phone etiquette, customer service and time management skills required
• Experience in a family practice clinic preferred but not required
• High School graduate or equivalent required (GED)
