    Spine Practice Coordinator

    Location: Lakeland, Florida

     

    Join a Growing Spine Practice

    We are seeking an exceptional Spine Practice Coordinator to become a key member of our new Spine 

    Surgery Practice in Lakeland, Florida. This is an exciting opportunity to help build a practice from the

    ground up while working directly with a spine surgeon. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-

    paced medical environment, enjoys taking ownership, and wants to make a meaningful impact on patient

    care and the success of a growing practice.

    MUST HAVE MEDICAL EXPERIENCE WORKING IN A MEDICAL OFFICE.

     

    Responsibilities

     Coordinate the daily workflow of a busy spine surgery practice.

     Answer incoming telephone calls professionally and efficiently.

     Schedule patient appointments and coordinate referrals.

     Obtain insurance authorizations for procedures, imaging, and treatments.

     Collect patient co-pays and assist with front-office financial responsibilities.

     Process and send medical records as requested.

     Assist the Surgeon and Physician Assistant during clinic operations.

     Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, hospitals, and other healthcare providers.

     Help develop efficient office workflows and contribute to the growth of the practice.

     Perform additional administrative and clinical support duties as needed.

    Qualifications

     Previous experience working in a medical office is required.

     Experience in orthopedic, spine, pain management, or another surgical specialty is preferred.

     Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

     Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

     Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

     Dependable, professional, and highly motivated.

     Exceptional work ethic with strong attention to detail.

     Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities may change throughout the

    day.

     Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is preferred.
