Location: South Windsor, CT
Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Fridays: OFF!?

Position Overview
J. Morrissey is seeking a reliable and compassionate Medical Assistant to join their team on a long-term temporary contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Medical Assistant looking for a consistent Monday–Thursday schedule with Fridays off every week.
Responsibilities

• Assist with patient intake, vital signs, and clinical procedures
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain a clean, organized environment
• Support providers with patient care and examinations
• Update and maintain accurate patient records
• Schedule appointments and assist with administrative tasks
• Communicate professionally with patients and healthcare staff
• Follow all applicable clinical, safety, and confidentiality standards

Qualifications

• 1 year previous Medical Assistant experience 
• EPIC EMR trained
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment
• Professional, dependable, and patient-focused
• Knowledge of basic clinical and administrative medical office procedures
• Medical Assistant certification preferred, if applicable
