Medical Assistant
Location: Freehold, NJ
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $21-$24/hour, depending on experience
About the Opportunity
A well-established orthopedic and sports medicine practice in Freehold, NJ is seeking a Medical Assistant to join its clinical team. This role is ideal for an MA who enjoys a patient-facing environment and working closely with physicians throughout the patient visit.

The Medical Assistant will support providers with patient flow, clinical documentation, room preparation, procedures, and patient education while helping ensure a smooth and positive experience for every patient.
What You’ll Do
  • Escort and prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during visits
  • Obtain and document patient histories and vital signs
  • Scribe patient visits and document HPI, ROS, physical exam findings, assessments, and plans in the electronic medical record
  • Document laboratory and radiology results as directed by providers
  • Prepare exam rooms, supplies, and equipment for patient care
  • Assist physicians with examinations, treatments, procedures, and testing
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed and within scope of practice
  • Enter orders for labs and procedures and process prescription refills
  • Maintain accurate patient records and enter appropriate billing information
  • Educate patients and families regarding procedures, medications, nutrition, and ongoing care
  • Monitor and report patient conditions or reactions to treatments
What We’re Looking For
  • 1+ year of Medical Assistant experience
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple patients and priorities in a fast-paced clinical setting
  • Professional approach to patient care and confidentiality
