Job Title: Medical AssistantJob Description
This Medical Assistant position supports a busy family medicine and women"s health clinic connected to a hospital, providing direct patient care and administrative support to ensure efficient, high-quality service. You will work closely with providers and another Medical Assistant to room patients, collect vital signs and histories, perform point-of-care tests, and manage scheduling and documentation in the electronic medical record. Work Environment
This role is based in a women"s health and family medicine clinic connected to a hospital, in a temperature-controlled environment designed for patient comfort and staff efficiency. You will work closely with two providers and one other Medical Assistant in a collaborative, team-based setting that sees a steady patient volume. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with no weekend or holiday shifts and minimal overtime. Daily workflow generally includes walk-in acute visits from 8:00 a.m. to 8:50 a.m., scheduled appointments from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., a one-hour lunch break, and afternoon appointments from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., with clinic wrap-up by 5:00 p.m. The clinic uses electronic medical record systems and standard clinical equipment such as vital sign monitors, phlebotomy supplies, and centrifuges. Staff benefit from easy, free access to parking without the need for parking garages or navigating heavy downtown traffic. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.22 - $23.00/hr.
