The position will contain various roles in both the front and back office. This is a full time paid position with full benefits available. It requires commitment of at least 1 and ideally 2 years.

Work Schedule: Must be available Monday -Thurs 7:45am- 5:30pm and Friday 7:45am – 1pm
Responsibilities include(but not limited to):
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, answering phones, and insurance verification as needed
- Enter information for medication prior authorization applications
- Obtain insurance referrals
- Greet and prepare patients for examination, taking vital signs and medical history
- Assist physician, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners with exams and procedures
- Perform in-office diagnostic tests and blood draws, including blood glucose checks, EKGs, and other testing
- Administer injections and assist with medication management under provider supervision
- Handle prescription refills, prior authorizations, and lab result follow-ups
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment
Qualifications:
- Will accept new graduates
- Medical knowledge is a must
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff, patients, and physicians.
- Maintains a positive, caring attitude towards patients and families.
- Good computer skills using a medical management application (EHR). - NextGEN experience is a plus
- Possesses a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism.
- Must be reliable/dependable during work hours.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
