Pay Rate: Starting at $18.25/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 6:45 AM - 3:30 PM

Assignment:8 weeks | September 8 - November 14 only

Dean's Professional Services is seeking a dependable, patient-focused, and skilled Medical Assistant to support a leading healthcare organization in Bellaire, TX. This is an excellent short-term opportunity for a certified Medical Assistant who is comfortable providing hands-on clinical support and administering injections in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative support to physicians and healthcare providers.

   

• Prepare patients for examinations and assist with routine clinical procedures.

   

• Obtain and document vital signs, patient information, and medical histories accurately.

   

• Administer injections safely and appropriately within the scope of practice.

   

• Assist providers with patient care and other clinical procedures as needed.

   

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.

   

• Prepare examination rooms and ensure appropriate supplies and equipment are available.

   

• Follow infection prevention, safety, and patient confidentiality standards.

   

• Provide professional, compassionate, and patient-focused service throughout each patient encounter.

   

• Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to support efficient patient flow and daily clinic operations.

   

• Perform other Medical Assistant duties as assigned.

   

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

   

• Current BLS certification required.

   

• Current National Medical Assistant Certification required.

   

• Must have hands-on experience and be comfortable administering injections.

   

• Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred.

   

• Strong communication, organization, and patient care skills.

   

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.

   

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety and quality care.
