Job Summary
Dallastown Medical Associates is a private family practice in Dallastown, PA. We are a professional, fast-paced office and our goal is to provide quality healthcare to our patients.
We are looking for a highly motivated, positive, flexible Medical Assistant with a minimum of 5 years clinical and family practice experience. Full time 35-40 hours a week. Schedule includes one evening per week and rotating Saturday mornings. Medical Assistant certification is required after 3 months of employment, if candidate is not already certified. Depending on experience, we are willing to train the right candidate.


Responsibilities
  • Prepare for the patient visit, by taking vital signs, checking in patients, medication reconciliation, including pulling charts and notes, as well as setting up medical equipment
  • Clean instruments and equipment after use
  • Vaccine and medication administration
  • Venipuncture, specimen collecting, and CLIA waived testing
  • Answer phones and field questions about medical issues, identifying visit needs
  • Assist nurses and doctors with basic medical care and procedures
  • Track lab results, call in prescriptions, and handle basic medical office duties
Qualifications
  • BLS Certification or Certified Medical Assistant desired
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to stay calm in emergent situations
  • Flexibility with scheduling
