    Medical Assistant (Full Time)


    Company: Vera Whole Health



    Locations: Dublin & Polaris Clinics (Ohio)



    Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm (1‑hour lunch break)



    Pay Rate: $21/hr Experience Required: 1+ years



    Experience: Phlebotomy required; Primary Care experience preferred EMR: Athena experience a plus


    About the Role
    We’re looking for a Medical Assistant (MA) to support our clinical team and help deliver excellent patient care. This role includes both clinical and administrative duties, and is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast‑paced, patient‑focused environment.

    How will you make an impact & Requirements

    ‎ 

    What You’ll Do

    • Take vital signs and document in the EMR

    • Perform phlebotomy and prepare lab specimens

    • Assist providers with exams, diagnostic tests, and point‑of‑care testing

    • Administer immunizations, injections, and medications as directed

    • Support patient education and care coordination

    • Track preventive care needs, referrals, and follow‑up items

    • Prepare exam rooms and manage patient flow

    • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and assist at the front desk when needed

    • Collect co‑pays and process payments

    • Maintain clinic supplies and restock as needed

    • Follow HIPAA, safety, and infection‑control guidelines

    • Participate in team huddles, meetings, and ongoing training

    • Perform other duties as assigned

    What We’re Looking For

    • High school diploma or GED

    • Graduate of an accredited MA program

    • 1+ years of MA or clinical support experience

    • Strong phlebotomy skills (required)

    • Excellent communication and customer service skills

    • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy clinic

    • Basic computer skills; EMR experience preferred
