    Medical Assistant / Clinical Assistant
    Location: Warren, OH (Physician Office)
    Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (No nights or weekends!)

    Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties)
    • Clinical Support: Lead patient intake by rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, updating medication lists, and processing laboratory specimens.
    • Patient Coordination: Schedule patient procedures and surgeries, coordinate with surgical vendors, and manage physician block times.
    • Administrative Excellence: Ensure strict data integrity within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and manage complex insurance prior authorizations.
    • Compliance: Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold all OSHA and The Joint Commission (TJC) safety standards.
     
    Qualifications
    • Experience: 1+ years of direct patient care experience.
    • Diverse Backgrounds Welcome: We actively seek candidates with backgrounds as an STNA, Phlebotomist, CNA, or Pharmacy Technician.
    • Education: Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program is a plus, but we welcome all candidates with equivalent, relevant clinical healthcare experience.
    • Skills: Exceptional customer service, strong multitasking abilities in fast-paced clinic settings, and proficiency in medical record databases.
