Medical Assistant II

Job Type: Temporary 12-Month Assignment
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant II to provide clinical and administrative support in a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on medical assisting experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Completion of an accredited or recognized Medical Assistant program consistent with applicable state requirements.

Required Certifications

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
  • Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) certification.
  • Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) certification.

Experience Requirements

  • Successful completion of the required externship as part of a Medical Assisting program.
  • Minimum of 1 year of professional experience working as a Medical Assistant.

Language & Communication Requirements

  • Bilingual Spanish proficiency required.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand medical information and terminology.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate information clearly and effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and team members.
