    Overview:

    Sentara MJH Medical Group Admin Offices is seeking a Medical Assistant non-certified in Charlottesville, VA!

    Job Summary

    • Hours: 32 hrs/week. Schedule based on practice needs Monday-Friday between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Most shifts will be 8:00 AM-4:30 PM or 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.
    • Duties: Primarily a clinical MA role, with cross-training and support for front desk duties as needed.
    • Home Location: 5th Street Station serves as the home office, but the role will float to all designated practices as needed.
    • Flexibility: Must be willing to float between practices as needed based on staffing demands.
    • Coverage Area: Supports 10 Primary Care practices across the Charlottesville/Waynesboro market.

    Experience

    • One year of clinical/administrative experience required
    • Phlebotomy experience preferred

    Education

    • High School Diploma or equivalent required

    Certification/Licensure

    Certification must be received within (9) nine months of employment in one of the following certification programs:

    • CCMA- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant or
    • CMA- Certified Medical Assistant or
    • RMA- Registered Medical Assistant or
    • EMT- Emergency Medical Technician

    BLS is required within 90 days of hire.
