1. Patient Care Responsibilities- rooming patients, collecting histories, charting, answering phone calls, completing forms
2. Clerical Duties- prepping clinics, obtaining test results, updating charts, verifying insurance, obtaining authorizations, coordinating referrals and appointments
3. Fulfills EOC Responsibilities- cleaning exam rooms, ordering and stocking supplies and restocking exam rooms, cleaning exam tables, maintain safe work environment by checking for expired supplies, medications, emptying sharp containers
Medical Assistant would be working at a busy orthopaedic clinic, seeing roughly 400+ patients a day across 60 exam rooms. Our clinic contains various subspecialties within orthopaedics such as pediatrics, spine, urgent care, total joint, hand, foot and ankle. The position is best for someone who likes a fast-paced environment and is flexible with changes to their assignment within the clinic.
