As a Certified Medical Assistant, you bridge the gap between patients and providers by creating a welcoming, safe, and efficient environment. Job Duties and Responsibilities Prepares patients for examinations by conducting accurate Patient Triage and recording precise Vital Signs Measurement.Collects laboratory specimens efficiently through expert Phlebotomy techniques while maintaining patient comfort.Performs diagnostic procedures, including the setup and execution of Electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG) tests.Administers medications and vaccines safely via Injection Administration and standard Medication Administration protocols.Maintains strict compliance with Infection Control standards to safeguard patients and staff.Documents all patient interactions, treatments, and vital data accurately within Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.Applies comprehensive Medical Terminology to communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and patients.Determines immediate patient care priorities and manages clinical flow to optimize provider schedules and reduce wait times. Required Qualifications Education Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.Current certification or registration as a Medical Assistant. Experience Minimum of one year of hands-on clinical experience in a fast-paced outpatient or clinic setting.Demonstrated history of managing patient records and clinical workflows. Knowledge/Skills Proficient in vital signs measurement, phlebotomy, and ECG/EKG execution.Skilled in injection administration and safe medication delivery.Knowledgeable in electronic health records management and medical terminology.Committed to rigorous infection control practices and patient safety. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual communication skills to connect with a diverse patient demographic.Advanced experience in specialized clinical departments such as pediatrics or cardiology. Physical Requirements/Work Conditions Stands and walks for extended periods during daily clinical shifts.Lifts and carries medical supplies or assists patients up to twenty-five pounds.Wears appropriate personal protective equipment as required by safety guidelines.Operates computers and standard medical devices frequently throughout the day.
