Position Overview
GSK Solutions is seeking experienced Medical Assistants to support Primary Care services across multiple locations in the Cambridge/Somerville area. Candidates must be flexible and willing to work at least 3–5 shifts per week within their assigned region.
Regions
Region 1: Cambridge/Somerville
Region 2: Somerville, Everett, Revere, Malden, and Medford
Candidates must confirm the region they are willing to work in and be flexible to work at various locations within that region.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Medical Assistant support in a primary care setting.
- Perform blood draws/phlebotomy and specimen collection.
- Obtain and document patient vital signs.
- Provide care and support for patients across all age groups, from 0–100 years.
- Assist with routine patient care and clinical activities as assigned.
- Follow facility policies, procedures, and patient-care standards.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 full year of recent Medical Assistant experience.
- Training or school experience does not count toward the required one year.
- Strong phlebotomy/blood-draw experience is required.
- Experience obtaining patient vital signs.
- Must be comfortable caring for patients across the full age spectrum, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.
- Must be willing to work 3–5 shifts per week.
- Must confirm willingness to work in the selected region.

Orientation is mandatory and takes place Tuesday–Friday at:

Malden, MA 02148
- Tuesday: 7:30 AM–4:30 PM
- Wednesday: 7:30 AM–4:30 PM
- Thursday: 12:30 PM–4:30 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Candidates must be available to attend the entire orientation week. If the full orientation week cannot be attended, the candidate will not be able to bill for orientation.
Important: Candidates must be flexible to work within their assigned region and must be willing to work at least 3–5 shifts per week.
