Lakeside Health is seeking a motivated, dependable, and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our Spine & Pain Management team in Bullhead City, Arizona.
Lakeside Health is a growing, multi-specialty healthcare organization offering Orthopedic Surgery, Spine & Pain Management, and Physical Therapy services.
We are looking for a team-oriented individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced medical environment, takes pride in providing excellent patient care, and can work independently while supporting our physicians and clinical staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Room patients, obtain vital signs, and document medical histories.
- Assist physicians and providers with patient examinations and clinical procedures.
- Prepare examination rooms and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment.
- Accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Coordinate patient appointments, referrals, imaging, and follow-up care.
- Assist with prescription refill requests and patient communications under provider direction.
- Prepare patients for pain management procedures and assist with clinical workflows.
- Maintain medical supplies, inventory, and equipment.
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients, providers, and coworkers.
- Support daily clinic operations to ensure efficient patient flow and an excellent patient experience.
Qualifications
- Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred.
- Experience in Spine, Pain Management, Orthopedics, or a specialty medical practice is a plus.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and medical terminology.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy clinical setting.
- Dependable, professional, and able to work independently.
- Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required.
