Medical Assistant (MA) –Brooklyn, NY | Contract | $30–$32/hr
If you’re a Medical Assistant who can confidently handle blood draws without hesitation, this one is for you. We’re looking for someone sharp, reliable, and recently hands-on with venipuncture to step into a busy clinical setting and keep things moving.
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8: 00 AM –5: 00 PM Location: Brooklyn, NY Pay: $30 - $32/hr (contract) What you’ll be doing (the core of it):
Own your lane with venipuncture + finger sticks —draw, label, prep, and process specimens correctly every time
Take and document vitals (BP, pulse, temp, height, weight) cleanly in the EMR
Run EKGs and routine tests (glucose, INR, dipstick)
Manage lab workflow —order tests, track results, prep for pickup, flag issues to providers
Keep exam rooms stocked, organized, and ready for the next patient
Support providers during exams and assist patients with movement, transport, and basic ADLs when needed
