We are seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant to join a professional healthcare team. This is a great opportunity for a patient-focused, dependable medical professional who enjoys hands-on clinical care and working closely with healthcare providers.
Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
$18.00 - $20.00/hr.
Responsibilities
Screen patients, obtain health information, and take/document vital signs.
Maintain accurate patient records in the EHR.
Administer immunizations.
Assist clinicians with examinations, screenings, and minor procedures.
Prepare exam rooms, instruments, and clinical supplies.
Collect specimens and assist with laboratory testing and results.
Respond to patient inquiries and route clinical calls as needed.
Follow up with patients regarding lab results and post-visit care.
Assist with flu clinics and health/wellness outreach programs.
Maintain medical supplies and support daily clinical operations.
Provide basic first aid and initial triage during emergencies, as needed.
Qualifications
Active Medical Assistant certification required
High school diploma or equivalent
3+ years of recent Medical Assistant experience
EHR experience preferred
Strong communication, organization, and patient-care skills
Professional, compassionate, and detail-oriented
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
