Baptist Health is looking to add a Medical Assistant to our Baptist Primary Care - Intracoastal West office located on Beach Boulevard in Jacksonville, FL. 

This is a Full-Time opportunity working Monday-Thursday from 8:00A-5:00P and Friday from 7:30A-4:30P.

The ideal candidate will perform back office Medical Assistant duties, such as rooming patients, obtaining vitals, and assisting the provider.

Bilingual-Spanish candidates are strongly preferred, but not required.

Medical Assistant, Job Responsibilities:

• Provides medical assistance to physicians
• Obtains vital signs
• Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
• Maintains medical documentation
• Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
• Processes prescription requests and referrals

Experience Requirements:

• 2+ years Primary Care Experience
• Experience in Physician's office

Education & Credential Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED Required
• Associate of Arts/Science Preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Certified Medical Assistant Preferred
