Medical Assistant (Baldwin Park)

Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred.

Candidates that are able to start ASAP highly preferred.

Medical Assistant back-office experience in Family Practice, Pediatrics, and/or OB/GYN preferred.

JOB SUMMARY

This position will assist medical providers in providing medical care to clinic patients under the direct supervision of the doctor or nurse.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Draw blood, give injections, administer skin tests, and obtain laboratory specimens.
• Prepare patients for doctor examinations.
• Set up necessary instruments.
• Take medical history and check vital signs.
• Schedule appointments.
• Update and maintain patient records.
• Monitor and maintain medical supply inventory.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
