    Medical Assistant II – Primary Care (Full Time, On‑Site)

    Location: 5625 Eiger Rd, Suite 200, Austin, TX 78735

    Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm (occasional Saturdays 8am–12pm)

    About the Role

    We’re seeking a Medical Assistant II to support our back‑office clinical team. You’ll work directly with providers, assist with procedures, and help ensure smooth patient flow throughout the day.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare patients for visits, exams, and procedures

    • Obtain vital signs, medical histories, and document medications/allergies

    • Perform in‑office procedures: EKG, spirometry, peak flow, bone density, nebulizer treatments

    • Relay lab results and follow‑up instructions to patients

    • Assist providers with exams and in‑office procedures

    • Administer immunizations and injections and monitor patients afterward

    • Handle incoming calls from patients, pharmacies, and other medical offices

    • Communicate test results and next steps clearly and accurately

    • Process medication refill requests following provider protocols

    • Clean and sanitize exam rooms; sterilize instruments

    • Support clinic operations and collaborate with all departments

    Required Qualifications

    • 1 year of back‑office Medical Assistant experience (required)

    • High school diploma or equivalent

    • Dependable, polite, and patient‑focused

    • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills

    • Able to adapt quickly and problem‑solve in a busy clinic

    • Team‑oriented and committed to delivering excellent care

    • Athena EMR experience is a plus

    Education & Experience

    • High school diploma or equivalent (required)

    • Medical Assistant certification (preferred)

    • 1 year MA experience (required)

    Compensation Range:

    $20.00

    to

    $30.00

     

    The anticipated base salary range represents the Company's good-faith estimate of the compensation it reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of posting.
