    NOW HIRING: Medical Assistant

    Join Our Healthcare Support Team

    We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and dependable Medical Assistant to support our healthcare and behavioral health services team. The Medical Assistant will assist with clinical coordination, patient support, documentation, scheduling, and daily healthcare operations while ensuring professionalism, confidentiality, and quality care.

    This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and supporting individuals receiving behavioral health and intellectual/developmental disability (IDD) services.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist healthcare staff with daily clinical operations

    • Obtain and document vital signs and health information

    • Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-up care

    • Maintain medical records and documentation

    • Support medication documentation and communication processes

    • Assist with intake and healthcare forms

    • Communicate professionally with providers, pharmacies, families, and staff

    • Maintain infection control and safety standards

    • Support compliance with DBHDD and organizational policies

    • Assist with medical supply inventory and organization

    • Other duties as assigned 

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or GED

    • Medical Assistant certification preferred

    • Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or IDD services preferred

    • Strong communication and organizational skills

    • Ability to maintain confidentiality

    • Basic computer and documentation skills

    Preferred Qualifications

    • CPR/First Aid certification

    • Experience with electronic health records (EHR)

    • Experience supporting behavioral health or community residential services

    • Knowledge of medication documentation procedures
