Medical Assistant/22/HCD021

• Room patients and prepare them for examination by obtaining vital signs, medical histories, and documenting chief complaints
• Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures
• Administer injections, vaccines, and medications per provider orders
• Perform basic clinical tasks such as specimen collection, point-of-care testing, and EKGs (if applicable)
• Ensure exam rooms are cleaned, stocked, and prepared between patients
  

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification
