Description: Our client is currently seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our clinical team. This role is vital in supporting providers, ensuring efficient patient flow, and delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced clinic environment. The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, and comfortable multitasking while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Room patients and prepare them for examination by obtaining vital signs, medical histories, and documenting chief complaints
- Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures
- Administer injections, vaccines, and medications per provider orders
- Perform basic clinical tasks such as specimen collection, point-of-care testing, and EKGs (if applicable)
- Ensure exam rooms are cleaned, stocked, and prepared between patients
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification
