    Summary

    As a Certified Medical Assistant at Serene Nursing Services, you will play a vital role in supporting healthcare teams by providing exceptional patient care and administrative support. This position is essential to our mission of delivering high-quality staffing solutions to medical facilities.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
    • Perform routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs and preparing patients for examinations.
    • Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patient responses.
    • Maintain accurate patient records and manage documentation efficiently.
    • Support patient service by addressing inquiries and providing information about services.
    • Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure seamless patient care delivery.
    • Assist with coding and billing processes as needed.
    • Participate in maintaining a clean and safe working environment


    Requirements

    Qualifications

    • Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or similar role in a healthcare setting.
    • Strong knowledge of hospital medicine, anatomy, and medical-surgical practices.
    • Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to care.
    • Familiarity with coding practices is a plus but not mandatory.
    • Ability to administer medications accurately and safely.
    • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation.
    • Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team environment.

    Job Type: Contract

    Pay: $25.59 - $28.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 40 per week
