The Essentials
- Schedule: Full-Time 40 hours per week | Monday - Friday
- Location: Fairlawn, OH
- Specialty: Pain Management
- Travel: Occasional travel between Clinic locations
What You'll Do
- Coordinate surgery, procedure, clinic, and diagnostic scheduling for assigned physicians and advanced practice providers.
- Schedule pre-operative testing, obtain medical clearances, coordinate special equipment, and secure insurance authorizations and precertifications.
- Prepare surgical packets, review provider pre-operative instructions with patients, and route clinical questions to appropriate staff.
- Submit surgical billing charges, reconcile orders, and support accurate and timely documentation.
What We're Looking For
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: One (1) to three (3) years of administrative, medical office, or secretarial experience preferred.
- Skills: Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy preferred. Strong organizational, communication, customer service, and multitasking abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office required; Excel experience preferred.
