Description

We have a great client looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant in Duarte, CA!

This is an onsite, 3-month contract to hire opportunity offering a pay rate of $23.76/hour. This opportunity comes with the likeliness of an extension or direct conversion!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provides senior administrative support under limited supervision, requiring no instruction on routine work and only general direction on new assignments.
  • Applies advanced skills, experience, and judgment to prioritize projects and resolve routine and some complex issues, including inquiries and requests from internal and external contacts, using knowledge of division/department and organizational policies, procedures, and practices. 
  • Compiles and analyzes basic information for reports and presentation materials; prepares charts, graphs, or tables as necessary. 
  • Routine work may be scanned by others upon completion.
  • This role supports physicians and division leadership and requires comfortability handling confidential information, coordinating travel, processing reimbursements, and providing high-level administrative support.
Qualifications and Experience
  • High school diploma or G.E.D
  • Minimum of three years’ previous relevant experience.
  • Skills in word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software required.
  • Internet research abilities are important.
  • Previous experience within HR department is helpful.
  • Past experience scheduling meetings and interviews in required.
  • Attention to detail and communication skills (written and verbal), and organization skills are required.
  • Proficiency in computers and able to learn new systems quickly.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  •  Ability to manage calendars, coordinate meetings, prepare correspondence, and maintain reports and records.
  • Experience processing business-related expenses and reimbursements.
  • Ideally, candidates should have experience using PeopleSoft, including submitting and tracking business expense reimbursements. PeopleSoft experience is preferred, but we can consider candidates with similar ERP or financial systems experience.
  • Healthcare administrative experience is preferred, and familiarity with medical terminology is a plus.
