Medicaid SpecialistFull-Time | Permanent | $65,000-$75,000 per yearAgawam Rehab & Nursing Campus is seeking an experienced Medicaid Specialist to support Medicaid and billing operations across our four skilled nursing locations.ResponsibilitiesProcess Medicaid applications and verify financial and personal information.Communicate with residents and families regarding application requirements.Track application status and assist with approvals, denials, and follow-up.Manage private billing, outstanding balances, and collections.Review monthly aging reports and maintain accurate records.Prepare and execute resident admission agreements.Coordinate insurance authorizations and appeals.Ensure documentation complies with applicable state and federal requirements.QualificationsPrior Medicaid processing experience preferred.Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, managed care, or skilled nursing reimbursement preferred.Strong communication and organizational skills.Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k)Schedule: Full-time
