Lead with purpose and help shape access to healthcare for nearly 1.7 million Louisianans. The Louisiana Department of Health is seeking an experienced leader to serve as a Medicaid Assistant Regional Administrator within the Bureau of Health Services Financing.
In this high-impact role, you will help lead regional Medicaid operations, support a team responsible for more than 30 Medicaid programs, and ensure services are delivered accurately, efficiently, and with a focus on the people we serve. From mentoring and developing staff to coordinating management priorities and driving effective operations, your leadership will directly support the health and well-being of Louisiana communities. Minimum Qualifications
Two years of the required experience for the following minimum qualifications must have been at the supervisory level or above:
Eight years of social services experience; OR
Six years of full-time experience in any field plus five years of social services experience; OR
A bachelors degree plus five years of social services experience; OR
An advanced degree plus four years of social services experience.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.
