    Hearing Coordinator


    Specific Job Responsibilities:

    • Service foreclosure, litigation and mediation departments by scheduling hearings and mediations timely and effectively
    • Ensure hearings, trials mediations, depositions etc. are added to the diary in firm system
    • Maintain records of hearing dates and times and attorney coverage in firm system
    • Communicate with judicial assistants to obtain hearing dates to coordinate with opposing counsel, defense counsel and pro se defendants if necessary
    • Communicate with caseload attorney and paralegals and provide assistance when needed
    • Communicate with local counsel coverage attorney
    • Have basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel and MS outlook
    • Be very organized and work in a fast paced environment with attention to detail

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • A minimum of one year legal administrative experience.
    • Foreclosure hearing coordination experience preferred.

    Required Education and Training:

    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • Paralegal Certification is optional
