  • Prospect, develop, and close new business opportunities
  • Build strong relationships with local and regional advertisers
  • Sell a full suite of media, sports marketing, and digital advertising solutions
  • Identify client needs and create strategic campaigns that deliver results
  • Stay current on cutting-edge digital products, trends, and opportunities
  • Work closely with internal teams to execute campaigns successfully
  • Consistently meet and exceed sales goals

Expectations for the First 90 Days:

During your first 90 days, you will be expected to:

  • Learn our full portfolio of broadcast, digital, sports marketing, and advertising solutions
  • Understand our sales process, CRM expectations, pricing structure, and internal resources
  • Build a strong prospecting pipeline focused on new business opportunities
  • Identify and begin outreach to high-potential local and regional advertisers
  • Set meetings with business owners and decision-makers
  • Begin developing custom marketing solutions based on client needs
  • Present and close multi-platform campaigns to plan
  • Demonstrate consistent daily sales activity, including calls, emails, networking, and in-person prospecting
  • Work closely with sales leadership and teammates to learn best practices and market strategy
  • Show a competitive mindset, coachability, and a strong desire to win

Expectations for the First 6 Months:

By the end of your first 6 months, you should be able to:

  • Manage an active pipeline of new business prospects and opportunities
  • Present and close multi-platform advertising campaigns at a pace that is on track to meet or exceed annual budget goals
  • Generate consistent new business revenue
  • Build strong relationships with clients and referral sources
  • Demonstrate confidence in selling digital products, including streaming, targeted display, social, search, video, retargeting, and other current solutions
  • Identify opportunities tied to sports, events, and premium content when appropriate
  • Meet or exceed activity goals and revenue expectations
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure campaigns are executed successfully
  • Show clear progress toward becoming a high-performing, self-sufficient Media Executive
