My client, a community hospital in western New York (right between Buffalo and Rochester) is looking for a qualified Med Tech / Medical Laboratory Scientist. 

This is a full-time, permanent position with comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Performs laboratory tests accurately and efficiently.
• Operates laboratory equipment.
• Perform precise specimen analysis and report results accurately.
• Completes QC Action Logs, preventative maintenance logs, and pending lists daily. 
• Assists with training new personnel.

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or Science 
• A valid NYS License for Clinical Laboratory Technologist
• At least 3 years of generalist experience
• American Society for Clinical Pathology Medical Technologist (ASCP MT) certification preferred
