Med Surg RN and/or Surgical Step Down -Registered Nurse

Seeking Med Surg RNs and/or Surgical Step Down RNs-Registered Nurses - 36 Hrs. Night Shifts in the Boston, MA area. This is a top healthcare network with the top compensation and excellent work culture. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Deliver nursing care in the Medical Surgical, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients

Communicate with various health care team members, patients, and their families

Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues

Update and manage patient records

Enter and interpret computerized data/information

Follow guidelines and policies established by BMCs nursing organization

Assist the leadership team as needed in quality improvement projects

Location: Menino 6 East

Schedule: 36 hours - Rotating Day/Night w/ every other weekend/holiday (three 12-hrs. shifts)

Must-Haves

1. One year of RN experience

2. Must have active or pending Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license or the ability to obtain one.

3. Must be willing to work permanent nights with every other weekend (36hr/week)

Nice-To-Haves

1. More than 2 years of experience

2. Recent Step down, med surg, or ICU experience

3. Would be willing to consider someone with extensive acute rehab experience
