    Position Title: Med/Surg Nursing Assistant - PRN (As Needed)
    Department: Med/Surg
    Reports to: Director, Med/Surg

    What You Will Do:

    As a Med/Surg Nursing Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting patient care and ensuring a comfortable, compassionate experience for every individual. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Measuring and recording weights, vital signs, intake/output, and other key data

    • Assisting patients with personal hygiene: bathing, grooming, oral care, and toileting

    • Supporting mealtime needs: preparing patients, serving trays, and assisting with feeding

    • Repositioning, ambulating, and escorting patients as needed

    • Keeping patient rooms tidy and assisting with cleanliness in storage and utility areas

    • Answering call lights and phones, and helping with general communication on the unit

     

    What You’ll Bring:
