We are currently accepting applications for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team as Med Nurses within our long-term care and rehabilitation facility specializing in geriatric care.

Qualifications
- Current Alabama LPN or RN license, or applicable temporary license
- Must successfully pass background check and drug screen
- Long-term care experience is preferred but not required
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary care team
Essential Job Functions
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Administering medications accurately and according to physician orders
- Completing electronic documentation and resident assessments
- Monitoring residents and reporting changes in condition to physicians, providers, and responsible parties as appropriate
- Ordering and coordinating medications with the pharmacy
- Supervising and providing guidance to CNA staff
- Providing wound care and treatments as ordered
- Collecting and processing laboratory specimens
- Communicating effectively with residents, families, physicians, and members of the care team
- Following facility policies and all applicable state and federal regulations
- Helping maintain a safe, respectful, and resident-centered environment
