    Mission

    This position requires eligibility for a TN visa (i.e., Canadian citizenship) because it is located in Auburn Hills, MI.

    SEGULA Technologies is seeking a Mechatronics Design Release Engineer to support Integrated Center Stack (ICS) components, with a strong focus on vehicle issue resolution, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and local plant and launch support.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support the design, development, validation, and release of Integrated Center Stack (ICS) components.
    • Review returned parts at QEC and investigate vehicle-level issues to identify root causes.
    • Perform root-cause analysis and coordinate corrective actions with suppliers and engineering teams.
    • Implement and validate corrective actions at local U.S. manufacturing plants.
    • Provide hands-on support during vehicle builds, plant issues, and product launches.
    • Support engineering changes, component validation, and design release activities.
    • Collaborate with Design, Electrical, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supplier Engineering teams.

    Profile

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
    • 3-5 years of automotive engineering experience, preferably in Design Release, Product Development, Quality, or Validation.
    • Experience with mechatronic/electromechanical automotive components.
    • Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
    • Knowledge of DFMEA, DVP&R, 8D, or similar problem-solving methodologies is preferred.
    • Willingness to provide hands-on support at local U.S. manufacturing plants.
