Job Description

RV Service Technician / Mechanically Inclined Apprentice

RV Life Is Good is looking for a mechanically inclined, hands-on person to join our growing RV service team. RV experience is NOT required. We are willing to train the right person who has a good mechanical aptitude, knows how to use tools, and enjoys figuring out how things work.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in carpentry, construction, electrical, automotive, maintenance, remodeling, handyman work, or other mechanical trades who wants to learn the RV service and repair industry.

What We're Looking For

Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with your hands
Experience using basic hand tools and power tools
Basic carpentry or construction skills
Electrical experience is a big plus
Plumbing, automotive, HVAC, or appliance experience is also a plus
Good problem-solving skills and able to think outside the box
Able to diagnose problems and figure out solutions
Willing and eager to learn new skills
Dependable and able to work independently
Detail-oriented and takes pride in their work
Positive attitude and good energy
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, especially during our busy season
Works well as part of a team

What You'll Learn

We can train the right person to diagnose, service, and repair:

RV electrical systems
Plumbing and water systems
Furnaces, air conditioners, and appliances
Slide-outs, leveling systems, and awnings
Interior carpentry and cabinetry
Roofs, seals, doors, windows, and exterior components
General RV maintenance and repairs

You do not need to be an RV technician to apply. If you're good with tools, mechanically inclined, dependable, and the type of person who enjoys figuring out how to fix things, we want to talk to you.
