Job Title: Mechanical Tool Designer
Location: Lewis Center, OH

Job Description:

• Design automation systems, SPMs, conveyors, material handling, pick-and-place, and robotic automation solutions.
• Design jigs, fixtures, tooling, and mechanical assemblies for manufacturing environments.
• Select bowl feeders, sensors, servo motors, LM guides, pneumatic components, and other automation components.
• Create detailed drawings, assemblies, layouts, and BOMs using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Perform mechanical calculations and ensure designs meet manufacturability, safety, and OSHA/CE requirements.
• Coordinate with electrical, controls, fabrication, suppliers, and onsite/offshore engineering teams.
• Support machine debugging, integration, troubleshooting, installation, and commissioning.
• Lead and coordinate mechanical design activities across a small engineering team.
