Job Summary
Seeking a Mechanical Tool Designer with strong experience in designing manufacturing automation systems, tooling, fixtures, material handling equipment, and high-speed automation lines.

Key Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5 7 years of experience in Mechanical Design and Manufacturing Automation.
• Strong experience in machine automation, assembly automation, jigs, fixtures, and tooling design.
• Experience with conveyors, material handling systems, SPMs, bowl feeders, and pick-and-place systems.
• Knowledge of pneumatic systems, servo motors, robotic automation, sensors, and LM guides.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Experience creating 3D models, detailed drawings, and BOMs.
• Strong understanding of machine design, mechanical calculations, and component selection.
• Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and support small design teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop manufacturing automation systems, tooling, jigs, fixtures, and special-purpose machines.
• Develop conveyor, material handling, transfer, and pick-and-place systems.
• Create 3D models, detailed engineering drawings, and Bills of Materials using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Select mechanical components such as sensors, servo motors, LM guides, pneumatic components, and bowl feeders.
• Perform engineering calculations and review designs for manufacturability and compliance.
• Support machine assembly, debugging, integration, and troubleshooting activities.
• Coordinate with electrical, controls, programming, fabrication, and project teams.
• Review machine operations and sequences and provide technical design support throughout project execution.
