Job Description:
We are seeking a Mechanical (Thermal) Design Engineer to support the design and development of HVAC, thermal management, and ventilation systems for modular data center and power module applications.
Responsibilities:
Design mechanical, HVAC, thermal, and ventilation systems.
Develop mechanical layouts, equipment arrangements, and construction drawings.
Perform thermal calculations and basic CFD analysis.
Select HVAC and mechanical equipment based on system requirements.
Support equipment sizing, ductwork, piping, and thermal management design.
Coordinate designs with electrical, structural, fire protection, and commissioning teams.
Review drawings and provide engineering support during manufacturing, installation, and commissioning.
Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes and industry standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
6+ years of mechanical engineering experience with strong thermal/HVAC exposure.
Experience with Revit and AutoCAD.
Experience with thermal calculations and basic CFD analysis.
Ability to interpret and develop mechanical/construction drawings.
Experience with data centers, modular systems, power modules, or similar applications is preferred.
PE License is a plus.
