Mechanical Technician

Duties include but are not limited to: Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. Diagnose and repair pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, compressors, motors, bearings, and other rotating equipment.

Mechanical Technician
Monday-Friday
1st Shift: 7:00 am – 5:00 pm
3rd Shift: 6:00 pm – 4:00 am
Pay: DOE
Duties include but are not limited to:

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and mechanical equipment
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime
• Diagnose and repair pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, compressors, motors, bearings, and other rotating equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Replace and rebuild mechanical components including bearings, seals, shafts, couplings, and valves
• Perform equipment alignment using precision measuring tools
• Complete welding, fabrication, and minor machining repairs as needed
• Inspect equipment for wear, vibration, and performance issues
• Work closely with maintenance and production teams to resolve mechanical issues
• Follow all company safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)

Qualifications:

• Experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance preferred
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical power transmission systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
• Ability to use precision measuring tools
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in an industrial environment
