TradeWorX is hiring mechanically inclined workers for a hands-on
shop-based assembly and fabrication position in Eighty Four, PA. The primary work takes place in a fabrication environment where employees help build and assemble industrial water and environmental treatment equipment and systems.
This is a strong opportunity for roustabouts, oil and gas workers, mechanical laborers, fabrication helpers, construction workers, and industrial employees who know their way around tools and want to apply those skills in a shop environment. Employees should expect hands-on assembly work involving components, piping, equipment, tools, materials, and mechanical systems. Some projects may also require travel from the shop to field locations to assist with installation.

Pay & Schedule:- $24.00–$26.00 per hour
- Monday–Friday
- Primarily shop-based work in Eighty Four, PA
- Some travel from the shop to field locations may be required for field installation
Job Duties:- Assemble and construct components used in industrial water and environmental treatment equipment and systems.
- Use common hand and power tools to fit, fasten, assemble, adjust, and install components.
- Assist with mechanical assembly, piping, equipment fabrication, and preparation of completed systems for installation.
- Work from instructions, measurements, drawings, or specifications to help ensure components are assembled correctly.
- Cut, shape, drill, grind, fasten, or join materials using appropriate shop tools and equipment based on the assigned work.
Requirements:- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using tools.
- Working knowledge of common hand and power tools.
- Experience in oil and gas, roustabout work, mechanical assembly, fabrication, construction, industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or a similar hands-on environment preferred. Welding experience a plus, not required.
- Ability to perform physical shop and field work, including standing for extended periods and handling materials and equipment.
- Valid, non-suspended driver's license and current automobile insurance.
- Ability to complete required background screening and drug screen.
