**2nd shift - Hours: 1:45pm- 10:15pm. There is voluntary OT available at times.

**Pay Rate: $24–$26 per hour, depending on experience

• 1 or more years of experience working in mechanical trades such as auto repair, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical

• Example – if they worked as a plumber apprentice or electrical apprentice, that would be a perfect fit

**Job Summary

**

• We are seeking a skilled and dependable Mechanical Technician to join our team assembling reverse osmosis equipment.

• In this role, you will lay out, fabricate, and assemble PVC and metal piping spools, install sensors and mechanical devices, and support the construction of high-quality water treatment systems.

• The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in mechanical trade, strong attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret engineered drawings and schematics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble reverse osmosis equipment and related mechanical systems.

• Lay out, fabricate, and assemble PVC and metal piping spools.

• Install sensors, instruments, valves, fittings, and other mechanical devices.

• Assemble conduit, electrical panels, and equipment according to applicable quality and EHS standards.

• Read and interpret engineered drawings, electrical schematics, piping layouts, and assembly instructions.

• Follow engineering specifications, quality requirements, and approved work procedures.

• Inspect completed work to ensure proper fit, function, and compliance with specifications.

• Identify and report quality issues, design concerns, or equipment problems.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

• Follow all company safety policies and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) requirements.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.

• At least one year of hands-on experience in a mechanical trade, such as:

• Ability to read and work from engineered drawings, electrical schematics, and technical instructions.

• Understanding basic mechanical assembly, piping, tools, and installation practices.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.

• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certificate or formal training from a trade school in a mechanical field.

• Experience assembling PVC or metal piping systems.

• Experience working with reverse osmosis, water treatment, industrial equipment, or similar systems.

• Familiarity with sensors, valves, instrumentation, conduit, or electrical panels.

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.

Ideal Candidate: The successful candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and comfortable following technical drawings and specifications. They should be able to troubleshoot issues, maintain consistent quality, and collaborate effectively with engineering, production, and quality teams.
