    Summary:
    The Mechanical Technician I is responsible for performing equipment assembly, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities within a manufacturing environment. This role requires hands-on technical skills, attention to detail, and strict adherence to safety and quality procedures to ensure maximum equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
    Roles & Responsibilities:
    • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities on mechanical equipment and production systems.
    • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform repairs following established procedures.
    • Inspect equipment components to identify wear, damage, or operational abnormalities.
    • Complete maintenance documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
    • Support equipment installations, modifications, and commissioning activities.
    • Follow all workplace safety standards and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
    • Maintain tools, spare parts, and work areas in accordance with company guidelines.
    • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to minimize equipment downtime.
    • Participate in root cause investigations and implement corrective actions when required.
    • Monitor equipment performance and recommend process improvements.
    • Assist with calibration and testing activities as needed.
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to maintenance and reliability programs.
    • Requirements:
    • Associate Degree in Mechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical discipline.
    • High School Diploma or GED with technical maintenance experience.
    • Technical or vocational certifications in Mechanical Maintenance are preferred.
    • 1 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance or manufacturing operations.
    • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
    • Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatic equipment is preferred.
    • Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and safety practices.
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work rotating shifts in an industrial environment.
