About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Technician to join our client's team in the light industrial/manufacturing sector. In this role, you will contribute to ensuring on-time delivery of equipment, improving maintenance efficiency, and enhancing people productivity.
Responsibilities
- Maintain assigned equipment according to the pertinent maintenance program and comply with the reliability-centered maintenance strategy.
- Adhere to transactional discipline within Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) business systems for recording materials, labor costs, and equipment maintenance performance history.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance asset utilization and reduce the cost of service delivery (CoSD).
- Support efforts to improve the efficiency and productivity of Maintenance Technicians.
- Implement CoSD projects, including planned repair and reuse of parts.
- Participate in failure investigations as assigned.
- Comply with the TLM Competency Management System.
Requirements
- Experience in maintaining industrial equipment and adhering to maintenance programs.
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
- Strong understanding of Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) standards.
- Relevant certifications or education in mechanical or industrial engineering.
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
- Experience in continuous improvement projects.
- Knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance strategies.
